TAKO is a young female chef character with multiple arms inspired by the likes of an octopus. The bold display of symbols such as multitasking and versatility in most Asian cultures serves as an embodiment of the Google STREATS space.

Drawing a parallel with what chefs would be doing in the space, TAKO showcases experimentations using Asian ingredients to create novel dishes. Eager bystanders from different races are featured on the opposite wall, reflecting Singapore’s Cultural Diversity.

We adopted a graffiti approach while executing to compliment the grungy interiors of the space with up-cycled installations.
