Tapestry of Saree 2040 was painted as part of Artwalk Festival 2023 and presents a story about culture, legacy, and the future, of Sarees. The historical significance of sarees serves as conceptual departure point of this mural as we developed visual content to portray design fads and imaginings of wardrobe productions in the future.

The traditional methods of creating sarees are combined with Advanced-Robot-Assistants, depicting a harmonious fusion of past and future. Dominating the mural is its centrepiece: A substantially sized saree drafting in the breeze.

Drawing upon Mural Lingo's versatility, this artwork contains a variety of art styles and mediums such as realism painting techniques, spray painting and flat graphic painting aproach. This eclectic mix of styles serves as a catalyst to capture the attention of attendees and spark dialogue between the communies within and beyond the precicnt, displaying a refreshing take on the South Indian Saree Culture in a cutting-edge way.
